A month has passed...It was exactly a month ago, (well, a month and a day now, it's 1am so it's the 13th already) Friday April 12th, around 5:00 am. My dad woke us up (my mom and me) and told us he was in terrible pain. It was unusual in my dad, because he's wasn't of the complaining type, he would never ask us to take him to the hospital or see a doctor, if he had a head ache or stomach ache, or a cold, etc. he would just rest, maybe take some pills and wait for it to pass. A very stubborn man, my dad. But this time it was different, and when my mom said we should take him to a hospital he didn't offer ressistance. From that very moment I knew something was definitely wrong.
When took him to the hospital then, and the first thing they told us is that he had a very strong gastritis. It made sense because my dad said the pain was coming from his tummy, but the doctor wanted to make sure it was just that and so he recommended to take an electrocardiogram. Very disappointed in you.I will probably be hated, screenshoted, targeted by adoring fans for this, but I really want to say this out loud.

I am talking about a specific 'group' of people who have an ongoing conflict right now.
Let's start with person R. R is a new arrival, sweet, caring. But drama started because people posted evidence of her tracing someone else's art. Let's call her traceover idols P and F. She deletes the evidence, types a journal and starts drama. People did not see the evidence, so they defend her. They completely lose track of it all. They defend her with 'those styles aren't even theirs! Draw what you want with whatever style.'
PEOPLE.
STYLE REFERENCING AND TRACING ARE TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.
Now L, she's a very well-known artist here. She visits the journal and defends her kindly. Okay. But then? She outright calls artist F a hypocrite and posts some evidence, types a few more mean things about her. Um, excuse me? One, she has

It was just another day at Elmore Junior High, when Ms. Simian announced a new student coming by,

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!I was called up in the counseling office today during English, and the news was unbelievable. I only believed it myself upon seeing the seal from The University of Oregon, and the letter of acceptance:
"Thank you for working through and delivering your application to the U of O Summer Enrichment Program on time. Your words were carefully considered and your message was impressive.
I am honored to have chosen you as my candidate for this year's SEP. I had the chance to visit with the program's Director, and he has already approved your application! Make sure your calendar is clear for the second SEP session; you will have the time of your life!"
The news: I GOT ACCEPTED INTO UNIVERSITY OF OREGON'S SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM!!!

ONE sophomore out of our class was picked based off of test scores, a teachers recommendation, grade point average, and the candidate must demonstrate most or all of these qualifications: Achievement at least two grades

Hey all! Hope you're well.

Emerald City ComiCon is March 1-3 in Seattle, and I will be there with =Animus-Panthera for the entire weekend. If you're going, drop me a line, we can meet at the con and hang out or something! Friday I'll be Rule 63 Buck Godot and Winslow, Saturday I'll be a Skybax rider with =Animus-Panthera and Sunday I don't know yet! Maybe I'll just be in civilian geek clothes, weird.

Double news! March 2nd is my birthday so come to con and celebrate with me! It'll be swell

In other news I don't have any illustration classes until the 17th, so... mostly I'll be working on cosplay stuff I guess. Maybe some colored pencil stuff and practice, we'll see. I want to redo my TS Eliot mermaid pic, I feel like it's time. Maybe do some other stuff. Who knows? I sure don't. Except I guess colored pencil I have to force myself to work on that.

Other news, other news... on my tumblr I'm doing a 30 day art challenge sort of on and off, something to keep me busy while waiting for classes and con and other stuff (I have been way to non-productive lately). I'm also going to read The Tale of Genji which is... quite a large tome, but I will get through it. I've been meaning to read it since like... middle school I wish I was kidding but I'm not because I've always been a nerd.

I think that's about it on my end honestly, so... yeah. SEM out, later days!
